As of the moment of this review, Alt.com offers gold and silver membership, which, to be quite honest, are not over the top in terms of prices. They’re not the cheapest out there, that I’ll admit, but the cost is really worth the content you get for it.
Furthermore, there is a simple, easy thing you can do on this site for free, and that is to check what type of people there are in your area.
All you need to do is type in your details, and when the site asks you for payment, just click on another part of the site and you’ll be able to use it. (At least for scouting what options you have in terms of potential roleplay buddies.) What a cool hack!
This Is A Good Thing
You may be disappointed by the fact that Alt.com is not free, but let me explain exactly why this is a good thing.
Namely, sites with paywalls are infinitely more serious about their craft than those without. The people frequenting these sites are more reliable and safer, and the content they upload (or that the site provides) is 99.9% better than on the free ones.
