Cam4 is a cam site! It is one of many you can find online, with a pretty typical cam site layout. On the landing page, you’re met with a grid system of models that are currently live. You get to pick whether you like to see females, males, trans models or couples.
You can also browse through the most popular tags, such as Kiss, Squirt, Anal, Ass, Spankings, Pussy, Flashtop, Flashbottom, and so on and so forth. The filtering option allows you to narrow your search by the location of the model, their body type, hair color, ethnicity, breast and penis size, and more. Overall, Cam4 has a good system of helping you find exactly what type of performer you’re looking for.
The four main types of shows on Cam4 are the same as on any other cam site:
- Public shows, where everyone gets to watch for free
- Private shows, which are just for you (and spies) and are paid by the minute
- Spy shows, where you get to watch someone else’s private show, also paid by the minute
- Cam2cam shows, where you can share your own video with the model
Additionally, Cam4 encourages their models to arrange outdoor shows, meaning in public, and also shows that include model playing video games (like you’d see on Twitch, for example). For the gaming streams, the model has to be on-screen at all times and preferably naked while they’re playing.

Once you sign up for a free Cam4 account, you get 50 tokens without having to pay for them. That’s about it as far as free tokens go.
If you want to buy more, the prices are as follows:

- 150 tokens = $18.99 (50 free tokens)
- 300 tokens = $44.95 (50 free tokens)
- 500 tokens = $84.95 (50 free tokens)
Cam4 also offers what is called a Gold Membership that is billed monthly. Once you sign up for this Gold Membership, you get bonus features, such as an ad-free experience (and Cam4 is quite heavy on ads so you might want to take advantage of this) and an additional 100 free tokens.
These are the prices for the Gold Membership:
- 1 month = $19.99
- 3 months = $49.99
- 1 year = $119.99
As expected, the longer the period, the lesser the cost. If you get a one-year Membership, the price of a month is half as much as it would be if you pay for only one month.
Is there straight, gay, bi, and trans content?
Yes, of course! As I mentioned before, Cam4 has female, male, and trans models, as well as couples. The largest selection of cams is, as usual, in the female section, but there is a little bit for everyone.
Female and trans models usually stream solo, but I noticed that male models tend to stream in couples, gay couples, to be exact. Though you can also find an occasional solo male streamer, despite them being relatively rare.
Sites Like Cam4 (What I Use When I’m Bored Of This Cam Site)

Cam4 is a decent place, but the number of cam sites out there can be overwhelming, especially if you’re new to the whole deal. This is why I made a list of sites similar to Cam4, some of which are amazing and some of which are less than satisfactory, so you get a clearer picture of what to expect. Scroll down to read about the best and the not-so-great that the current cam site scene has to offer.
Chaturbate
If you’re on a budget but would still like to enjoy a live show, Chaturbate is perfect for this. To watch any of the public shows that are online, you don’t even have to sign up for an account! Chaturbate makes it really easy for you to get your live cam fill without any effort on your part.
The only downside to Chaturbate is that there is no cam2cam option. However, for a place that has so many drop-dead gorgeous models and so many HD streams that you can watch without joining the site, I’m willing to overlook this. As your introduction to the magnificent world of cam shows, Chaturbate is a must-see!
MyFreeCams
The biggest flaw of MyFreeCams is immediately noticeable the moment you open the site. Its layout hasn’t been updated in decades, it seems, and the navigation is complex and unintuitive. If you get past its ugly interface, however, you will discover why MyFreeCams is still one of the best cam sites out there.
This site is not only free, but it is also ad-free! Or as ad-free as it can possibly be. Your browsing through their online shows won’t be interrupted by pop-ups of any kind, and you won’t be urged to click anywhere, which is refreshing, to say the least. MyFreeCams models are stunningly beautiful, and you’ll have a fun time on this site.
Royal Cams
I will be the first to admit that I’m not a big fan of Royal Cams. It is a standard cam site you can find pretty much anywhere else on the web, and it doesn’t offer anything new or interesting to the format. In fact, I’d say that it has a lot of the same as another cam site on this list, Bonga Cams.
Namely, Royal Cams and Bonga Cams share the same design and, from what I’ve seen, they also share some of the same models. This is a bit of a red flag for me because I’m much too used to sites trying to scam me and promote content that is not theirs. Overall, I wouldn’t advise wasting your time on Royal Cams.
LiveJasmin
When it comes to cam sites, there is none better than LiveJasmin. You may think I’m exaggerating, but the moment you open this site, you’ll see what I’m talking about. It is elegant, it is decadent, it is every bit as high-class as you’d expect a luxury sex establishment to be. LiveJasmin is the queen among cam sites, in a whole league of its own.
The main reason for this is the careful selection process of their models. Not everyone can be a model on LiveJasmin, and their girls, guys, and couples are insanely beautiful and skilled at what they do. Private shows on LiveJasmin come at a higher price than usual, but they are worth every last cent.
ImLive
If LiveJasmin is all about extravagance and high cost, ImLive is almost the exact opposite. This is one of the cheapest cam sites you’ll come across, but with content that is still decent in quality. Especially now that they’ve recently introduced HD streams for their viewers.
ImLive offers one of the least expensive private shows in the cam site world. You get to choose a cam2cam show where the model can both see you through your camera and hear what you say via your microphone. This site comes with pretty girls and interesting shows, and it also has a nice loyalty program that you might want to take advantage of.
Cams.com
Cams.com may seem like a regular site at first glance, but it offers a feature you won’t find anywhere else, called Connexion. Connexion is an opportunity for you to get a sex toy that can be connected to the one the model is using during a live stream. The overall effect is that of simulated sex, and it’s truly something that you need to experience at least once in your life.
Other than that, Cams.com functions as a pretty standard cam site. It also has Buzzmode, which enables you to simply click on the video frame and gift tokens to the model you’re watching. This is at the same time, convenient but also troublesome, as it may cause you to lose tokens through accidental clicks. So be careful if you have this feature turned on!
CamSoda
One of the most popular cam sites (list of the other most popular cam sites), CamSoda is worth your attention. It is inexpensive and it allows you to watch public shows as much as you want for free. Its models are friendly and always open for chatting (especially if you tip them well!), and it has a great mobile version you can use on the go.
That being said, CamSoda isn’t perfect. There aren’t enough HD streams, in my opinion, and the filtering of the online shows leaves a lot to be desired. Additionally, their customer service is either not very helpful or unavailable, so you can’t expect to quickly solve any issues you might have. Even with all of that, however, CamSoda remains one of the rare truly good cam sites you can visit.
Bonga Cams
I already mentioned Bonga Cams in my Royal Cams description, but here I will talk a little bit more about it. Bonga Cams is a great source of European models, though they don’t always speak English very well. It is not a bad site per se, but I would always recommend a different one to visit first.
Bonga Cams is littered with ads on every corner. They pop up no matter where you click, and even the streams themselves get interrupted by ads. Also, Bonga Cams is too expensive for the relatively mediocre content it gives out and that’s why I’m not too enthused by this site in general. You can check it out, but I wouldn’t advise spending money on it.
JerkMate
If you’re tired of seeing the same old grid layout that most cam sites have, why not give JerkMate a go? My girlfriend and I love the random cam concept it comes with, which is largely similar to a random chat site, only you get paired with a cam model and not a regular person. This greatly reduces the time you’d spend trying to decide which stream to watch.
JerkMate makes it hard for you to choose within a certain category, but that’s exactly why it’s so good! It takes the dilemma away from you. All you need to do is answer a couple of simple questions about your tastes and the right cam model will show up on your screen. Free, fast, and easy!
ChatRandom
A random chat site, ChatRandom is not a bad place to meet kinky strangers who will want to get dirty with you right away. It is not the best site of its kind, but it is certainly a good place to invest some time in. You don’t even have to sign up to be able to use all of ChatRandom’s features.

Out of all the sites I listed, Chaturbate and CamSoda are the most popular. They offer great value for their price (if you wish to invest in tokens and private shows, that is), and the quality of their streams is excellent. My girl and I spend a lot of time on these two sites.
If you want something different, however, you might want to check out JerkMate. The ‘random cam’ concept is great for those days when you’re too tired to think and would just like a cam show right here, right now. Just keep in mind that when you get a model you like, you still have to pay for a private show with them, despite it seeming like you’re already one-on-one.
